graphics are at the top, text/dialog is below; you can click the pictures for sometimes-larger versions of them
use blue buttons in the text to step the play at the top forward a step
use green buttons in the text (when a choice is required) or the big green button (at the bottom-right of the graphics) to go to the next page
click the Title/Copyright Strip (at the left) to show/hide the Side Menu
use Save/Load in the Side Menu to save your place/status and to return to it
use Status/Quests in the Side Menu to see how you stand (with money, befriending points, quests, etc.)

iStory/Game Help

Pictures are usually shown at the top of the page. You can click the pictures to open a window with that picture (often of larger size).

If a blue button () appears on the page, you can click it to see a graphic change in the page. If you want to reset the page to how it initally was, click the 'Reset Page' option in the left-hand panel.

Often a green button () will appear at the bottom of the page. Click the button to go to the next page.

You can use the 'Save' option in the left-hand panel to save your place in the game. There are ten slots to do this ten different times. Use the 'Load' option in the left-hand panel to go back to one of those saved place.

You can use the 'Restart Story' option in the left-hand panel to restart the story over from the beginning. Obviously, this will lose your current place in the game, so be sure to save your place first if you wish to return to your current point in the game.

If there is a 'Status' option in the left-hand panel, you can use this to find your current status in the game, such as how much gold or dollars you have acquired, etc. If there is a 'Quests' option in the left-hand panel, you can likewise click that to see which quests you have completed or are currently working on.
